The Asics Gel- Cumulus 11 Running Shoe is designed to provide runners with the optimal blend of cushioning, stability and overall comfort. It offers optimum shock absorption ideal for the high mileage runner. Features a synthetic air mesh, Personal Heel Fit and modified Kimono Tongue upper to provide comfort and breathability. The 3M scotchlite reflective material enhances visibility during low light hours. The Impact Guidance System (IGS) is an ASICS design philosophy. It aims to make shoe components from rear to midfoot and forefoot to work together effectively to allow the body to perform in a natural manner. Also featured is a Solyte midsole, a proprietary cushioning material that provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole with excellent bounce-back and durability. The Trusstic in the mid foot area provides stability. Rearfoot GEL provides cushioning in all directions, absorbs impact forces and helps to stabilise the foot during heel contact. AHAR+ (Asics High Abrasion Resistance rubber) on the outsole is placed in the heel, where there is heavy contact area, to reduce wear and increase durability. DuraSponge rubber in the forefoot, a blown AHAR compound, provides enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot. The removable, ComfortDry sockliner in the insole provides the optimum cushioning performance system that creates a cooler, drier, healthier shoe environment.
